A Mother's Love & A Father's Caring Nature...

It was 7:50AM and I was heading towards my office. I was seated in the first seat of my office bus and it was drizzling and there were every chances of very heavy rain in another few minutes.
I was as usual listening to my ipod and relaxing and my eyes were tight shut. I slowly opened my eyes to see where I reached, when a recognised a quite aged lady driving a two-wheeler and was driving in a meduim pace just to keep up the highway speed.
Her little son was seated in the back seat and he held her tight across her waist. He was fully equiped with raincoat and cap to save himself from the rains and the lady had nothing to put on. She drove and drove and we entered Hinjewadi. A thought creeped my mind, I felt she was in hurry to drop her son to school or he might have missed the school bus. I was not sure how long she drove, but it will not be a short distance for sure.
She was driving and at the same moment concerned if her son was still behind her. Every now and then she touched his little hands across her waist.
At one moment the little kid's hand might have starting aching, his small hands around the big round waist.
He removed one of his hands and started playing with the drops of water in his raincoat.
His mother felt that something is missing and her left hand went in search for his little fingers and she put them back across her waist again and patted them.
I was touched by this little act and remembered the old days when I was in school and my mother used to do every bit she could early in the morning, so that both her daughters reach the bus on time, have proper food and tiffin boxes packed. She never bothered even if she left for her school a little late or even skipping her meal.
My  father lifting me in his arms and helping me cross the small ponds of dirty water after the rainfall, so that my socks don't get drenched and shoes still clean.
I still remember your love then and I know you still love us the same.
Missing you Maa-Deuta...

Love You... :)
I will come home as soon as I can, as I want to spend a part of those lovely days once again this year...
